How to Start Emergency First Response CPR & AED Training

Overview

The hybrid online CPR and AED course allows you to learn lifesaving skills on a timeline that works for you. Start with online self-study then schedule in-person training with an instructor.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Online training makes it easy to fit a CPR and AED course into a busy schedule. Training videos show proper techniques and teach you how to respond to different types of emergencies. Study online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor if you have questions

Time commitment: 2-4 hours

With Your Instructor

Learn nine essential skills for helping others in an emergency including how to use an AED on adults and children and how to help someone who is choking. Get hands-on experience administering CPR using adult, child and infant mannequins. Practice your new skills in role-playing scenarios.

Time commitment: 6-8 hours

After This Course

Your EFR® Instructor can also train you how to provide first aid for both life-threatening and non-life-threatening emergencies and how to handle common childhood illnesses and injuries. Ask for details.
