Solomons WWII Wreck

Solomons Master Liveaboard

$5,940

When: 24 Nov to 3 Dec 2024

Where: Solomon Islands

The Solomons comprise 992 islands, less than 50% of which are inhabited. Situated within the Coral Triangle to the northeast of Australia and southeast of Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands are one of the last frontiers; untouched, peaceful and beautiful. Due to its remote location, the country offers some of the most pristine dive sites in the world. Join us aboard the Solomons Master for WWII Wreck Week.

The WWII Wreck Week itinerary allows up to 22 dives exploring some of the best wrecks of the Florida Islands, Russell Islands, Iron Bottom Sound and around Guadalcanal. The wrecks you visit are within recreational limits and to ensure that you fully explore the dive site, several dives are often scheduled , allowing guests the opportunity to fully explore them. The numerous WWII wrecks in the area are in various conditions with some wrecks being fully intact, while others are in pieces, or completely blown apart due to the damage suffered in battle. Although the sites covered are all within recreational limits, many lay at the boundaries of those depth limits. Therefore, bottom times may be limited by your experience or certification.

During this 7 night itinerary you will also have the opportunity to go ashore and visit some of the land based areas that were occupied by both the Japanese and Allied Forces during WWII.

Dive sites include reef, planes and shipwrecks:

🤿 AOW Cert Level: 10 wrecks (3-56m)
🤿 Deep Cert Level: Additional 3 wrecks (34m+)
🤿 Tec only: USS Kanawha (40-60m)
🤿 Tec Cert required to dive beyond recreational limits

Recreational divers can have 3-4 dives a da.y
Technical divers max 2 dives a day, with a min of 4 hours surface interval.
